The Caribbean resort is by far one of the most popular destinations for long holiday breaks and celebratory events. One of the main reasons why people choose the Caribbean resort is because of its guaranteed great weather at specific periods, relaxed atmosphere, friendly locals, exotic meals and food, and the great parties they organise on the beach at the end of the ceremony. Nothing can be more memorable than having your day of celebration a day for everyone to enjoy and talk about after. There are a few things that all couples looking to get married must consider before choosing to marry abroad.

1. How much are they willing to spend on their wedding if they are to get married abroad?

2. What is their realistic budget for a wedding abroad after calculating all possible costs?

3. How far in advance would they need to send out invites to guests, bearing in mind that many of the guests may not be able to afford to travel at short notice?

4. Are there any package deals they could opt for, such as getting a discount on hotel accommodation or catering?

5. Are there any terms or conditions they would need to adhere to, such as customary activities that may not be allowed in the area?

6. How long will the event take place and will there be live music entertainment?

The above points are just a few of the general questions that will arise for most couples if they do decide to move abroad for a wedding. As most married people will know, organising a wedding can be fun but also very stressful if either one of the couple have had very little experience in pulling together a big event such as this one. There is more pressure on the couple to make sure that the day is next-to-perfect as possible, because it is one that they never want to forget in a positive way.

The idea that people can relax by the calming sea and enjoy an even more relaxed party after is more appealing than being sat on hard wooden benches in a cold church for a prolonged period. Those who can afford it would much prefer a wedding that would incorporate a shared holiday experience and doubles up as a honeymoon. Some may find that they will spend less than ten thousand pounds on a wedding abroad, because of the cheaper facilities offered and they can use the wedding destination as a honeymoon (depending on the location).
